SAR XBJ-10 cement tanker – HO (Kadee)

Description

The SAR XBJ-10 cement tanker – HO (Kadee) is an icon of the South African railroad scene and is now available from Dream Trains.

This is a complete, ready-to-run model and no assembly or painting is necessary.

Detail on the model include ladders, vacuum cylinder and -reservoir as well as break equipment with vacuum pipes.

An appropriate break wheel is also attached and detail on the tank lids are visible.

The original cement tanker, the XB10, was introduced between 1973 and 1974 and is still in use today.

The XBJ-10 cement tanker was designed to transport cement and similar products (like marble dust) in bulk.
